The Opportunity

Ancora Waterfront Dining & Patio is recoginzed as one of the finest dining experiences in Vancouver, specializing in innovative seafood with Peruvian and Japanese influences.

Ancora False Creek is currently seeking an energetic, eager, and ambitious Sous Chef to join our group of world-class chefs.

What You’ll Do

· Prepare dishes

· Create recipes

· Assist in running and managing kitchen operations

· Assist in hiring, training and supervising cooks and other kitchen staff

· Assist in planning menus

· Assist in preparing schedules for kitchen staff

· Ensure kitchen is clean, well-supplied and organized

What You Have

· 2+ years of experience as cook/ chef, preferably in a similar role.

· Cook's trade certification or equivalent credentials, training and experience.

· Ability to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation.

· Ability to multitask and work effectively.

· A desire to grow and learn in a dynamic work environment

· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
